The Interact Club of 

Muslim Ladies' College in the process of   organizing Diabetes awareness and prevention campaign project which is known as "seeni meanie".The 5th phase of Seeni Meanie was on 2nd of March 2013 at School Main hall.The programme was focused on "how to live a healthy life?".The programme was with 2 sessions ,the 1st session was a Cookery demonstration conducted by Mrs.Faiza Shahul. The 2nd session was a workshop on" how to live a healthy life without being affected by diabetes" by Dr. Imtiaz Latheef.

Seeni meanie

The Interact club of Muslim ladies' College in the process of organizing the project "Seeni Meanie".The project "Seeni Meanie" is  based on the disease diabetes.The main objective of this novel project to create Awareness about diabetes among the school community.This project is consists with 6 phases.The 1st phase  is Distributing Pre-evaluation questionnaires among school students,the 2nd phase is Introducing "Seeni meanie" to our school through an effective publicity,the 3rd phase was a research to find the number of families with diabetes patients from grade 10 above and this research was done by using students personal informations.Then the 5th phase was a healthy diet cookery demonstration conducted by Mrs.Faiza Shahul and a workshop on  "how to live ,how to create a healthy life?" conducted by Mr.Imtiaz on 2nd of March at School Main Hall. The final Phase is an Awareness and prevention campaign on diabetes to our school student.The 'seeni meanie ' project is not completed yet, during past months we were able to complete 5 phases of our project.The time is close by to conclude "Seeni Meani" with an effective awareness and prevention campaign on diabetes to our school students by translating our vision in to reality.
